money after old rope? (upgrading PC to HTPC)

trying to figure out if its actually worth doing this or not or just saving my cash. ive got a mish mash old tower that i think wouldnt necessarily be a bad HTPC box with the right tweeks..

current spec:

DFI Lanparty NF2 Ultra
Athlon Barton 2800 clocked to 3200
2Gb PC3200
Geforce FX5500 256mb (yum)

By adding/changing the following, would it make a reasonable box for movies/music:

* Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 3850 Pro 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI/HDMI (AGP) - Retail
* LG GGW-H20L Blu-Ray Rewriter & HD-DVD ROM Serial ATA Drive - OEM
* Antec Fusion Black HTPC Case

the board already has an SPDIF so thatll hook up to my yamaha DD5.1 nicely..

thoughts/comments?

okay i'll have another look at cases, does the rest seem okay?

edit - prob the SilverStone Grandia GD01B-MXR then

You don't an ATi 3850 card, the 3450 does exactly the same job for playback of Blue-Ray's and is silent/cheaper :D
