Just wondering is the 620W corsiar modular psu is up to running my spec below?

Q6600@3Ghz
4GB G.Skill 8000C5 Ram
2x Seagate 500Gb HDs
1x WD Black 1TB
2x 8800GTS 512Mb
MSI P7N Diamond 780I MB
Pioneer DVDRW
Creative xfi soundcard
6x 120mm fans

I am getting random reboots and I am trying to pinpoint what is causing it.

Yea that's fine but for the price you might as well go for the:

Corsair TX 750W ATX2.2 SLI Compliant PSU - £80.49 inc VAT

The one your after is:

Corsair HX 620W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU - £94.29 inc VAT

This way if you ever want to upgrade your g-card to a 4870 x2 or summet you don't need a new psu :)

It's a fine suggestion but he may not want to lose the convenience of modular cables. :)

I've never had a problem with it, I'm contemplating getting a new one soon(ish), mostly as I want one as close to silent as I can get, although this is not exactly loud! and I also fancy modular cables.

When I got this it was only powering 2gb of ram and a 8800 GTS, upgraded to 4gb of ram and added a 4870x2, a 150gb velociraptor and 6 fans and still no problems!

Oh yes it's a nightmare, the horrors of finding and empty drive bay, and using cable ties to neatly and unobtrusively keep cables out of the way....

:)
