2 x 4870 or 4870x2 which is best?

I'm just making this move now but rig isn't ready yet to test. The main reason I'm doing it is for the reason above, more room and can always add another in the future.
 
I've got a 4870X2 but sometimes I wish I had two seperate 4870s, because then I'd be able to bung an aftermarket cooler on.
