Kwik Fit (MOT)

Anyone know if when Kwik Fit do the MOT on your car and it fails, do/can they carry out the repairs ready for a retest?

Had a quick look on their website which doesn't say....any idea?

I would imagine they'd fail your car in order to generate work for themselves to charge you extortionate amounts for.

I'v been with Kwick Fit for almost 2 years. But never use the Free MOT voucher. Been told that they charge you a bomb after the Mot test Failure, and yes they do fail you so they can generate money.

Better of going to mot test centers you normally go.

Had mine done, failed on the front bulbs, my sidelights have about 1% blue tinge and they said it would need white/yellow crap ones put in to pass and they charged me 16 quid for 2!!!, if i didnt pay then it was a re-test so i just agreed but they didnt charge me in the end and forgot.

Thing with quick fit is that they dont stock anything for a lot of cars, so i guess i would feel pretty safe that they wouldnt bother.

Do the British public a favour and get them shut down when they say you need new brakes. Or one of the few other things they are almost capable of fitting.
