Question about Bosch windscreen wipers

I replaced all three wipers today. I just wanted to change the rubber but it wasnt coming out so I had to change the whole wiper. I bought some cheap "Classic Professional Range" wipers that seem to do a better job than the original Focus ones (saying that the wipers I replaced were eight years old!). It didn't cost me much, about a fiver for all three.

The question is, since everyone goes on about Bosch this, and Bosch that when it comes to wipers, what are so special about them?

Cheers

Everyone goes on about Bosch aero's, not classic professional.

Bosch stuff just works, it's good quality.

Thing is cheap blades might be ok now, for a couple of weeks, but the rubber starts to pit and then they streak like hell, don't skimp on Wiper Blades.

Are you really moaning about the quality of 8 YEAR OLD wipers?!

no ?

he was questionning why everybody rants about the bosch ones so much when the cheap ones he just bought seem to work just fine

I guess the only answer to that is that the bosch last longer ? after all, they either clear you windscreen or they dont.

I bought cheap aero ones from ebay and they sucked, so I would suggest only going for genuine branded wipers.
