I send my scouts out looking for 14 - 20 year olds specifically around Europe (all 3 of my scouts) from April until September, which is the window in which all the teams get their new youth talent, my scouts normally always find them. I also check national teams main squads for abnormally young players, then check the U21's and U18 for talent.

The logo's are from IJ's logo pack on The Dugout (direct link). They are quality :)

Do they work with the medium sized logos (the ones you see during the press conferences?)

Also, do they include competition logos?

Anyone else having trouble buying the top players? After a January sale lol I had £74m in the bank but even if I offered silly money the club wouldnt sell. Any tips?

I finished my first season with Arsenal 5th, (Which is good considering I had a REALLY bad start) and also snatched the FC cup so I kept my job.

Just started the preseason but my trusted tactics seem to be having problems already.

Yeah he was good in FM08 as well. Where do you play him, upfront or on wing?

I was offered 46m for him from Man City (Who really do seem to be buying everyone on the planet) but I rejected it as I see him as a star for the future.

Looks like a bug yeah. But you get a great player and don't even have to pay him :D


I just put Mike Phelan back as a regular coach and signed Valter Di Salvo back from Real Madrid as my AssMan (he went there in real life from Utd in 2007), much better :)
 
Unfortunately I offered him 16,000 so I could get a bit closer to his required signing on fee, he negotiated and asked for 66,000 :(

Spent most of my transfer budget for the season now, Sakho and Balotelli :D
 
Game has crashed twice in the past hour !

Launches from steam fine, playing it in a window and will just *stop responding* and the window turns black.
anyone else having anything like this ?

I get this too. I think it is a bug that SI are aware of.

Does the screen come back after a while? I get it when its processing stuff, leave it for a few seconds and its OK.

Yeah the screen will sometimes come back after a few seconds, but then sometimes it crashes and I have to close the program down and relaunch it from steam.

Tip for you. Make a new shortcut on your desktop and point it to the fm09.exe in the FM09 folder. This means you can run FM09 without needing to run Steam. Might help a little. :)
 
I had forgotten that you even could now!

I just requested it and the board said it doesn't require relaying, I am in October in my second season.

Have you patched the game to version 9.10 yet?
