Sending Cannabis to Class B has to be the most ****ed up decision I've seen this government make (ok that's an overstatement, but it's up there in terms of logic and competent thinking applied). Talk about sending the completely wrong message that somehow, drugs like speed, ritalin and amphetamines are as safe as cannabis when they're so clearly not. Cannabis should have stayed at C where it's appropriately risk assessed, instead of amongst the horse tranquilizers and psychosis medications. The stubborn 'drugs and cannabis are BAD and we don't care what the experts say' stance has gone too far. Why hire the industry experts and leading professionals in the field if you're not going to listen to what they say? Why toy with people's ignorance and perceptions of drugs by putting a common drug such as cannabis in the same field as other class B drugs? It sends a wrong message that if a guy does cannabis, he might as well try the other drugs too since they're apparently only as dangerous as it.
Just a small rant.
