VAT - ticket price reduction

Love the way Coco's highlighting the extra 5p (on average) being knocked off the prices :p

Slightly suprised the club have bothered as there's hardly a lack of demand for the tickets but i suppose the Yanks need some good publicity.

Leeds are joining in with the VAT fun! Not that it makes a noticable difference.

Although when it comes to buying season tickets it will have more of an impact, although not that great really.

As we all know, the vat reduction only benifits the rich who can afford to purchace expensive items. For the rest, a few 5p savings here and there dont make much difference. You'd be better off searching the streets for fallen change!

Just read that the Barcodes have cut their prices due to the VAT reduction. There's an article on the BBC about Boro considering cutting their prices too, i think that's a general cut though rather than anything to do with the VAT cut.

There was an interesting interview on SSN with Niall Quinn regarding Sunderland dealing with the reduction in VAT. He said that because all the season tickets have been paid for at the higher rate, they wont be working out a reduction for the members but donating 100 shirts to charity organisations around the city. (Well, something like that anyway, only half listening).

Nottingham Forest vs Sheffield United.

Buy it before 1st December and the ticket price is: £27
Buy it on or after 1st December and the ticket price is £26.50.

Yay!! :o

just got a club propaganda email saying that Sunderland are donating any cash made from the VAT reduction to supporting local grassroots football
