Some of the Mumbai terrorists are British born Pakistanis

Just heard this as I walked past the TV, up to 7 of the Mumbai individuals involved with hostage taking / bombings / killings have been identified as British born Pakistanis from Leeds.

How come they haven't captured all the people involved but they can still say 7 are British born, even narrowing it down to Leeds!

Its probably well known, but didn't get back to the TV in time to hear what the main story was about and the websites don't appear to have the same details.

Guess we will find out soon enough - I just found it strange that if there is a UK connection, how they narrowed it down to one city without actually capturing anyone!

Ah - this make a bit more sense, Sky News suggests that 2 have been captured and they have been found to be UK born.

In India, Vilasrao Deshmukh, the chief minister of the state of Maharashtra, which includes Mumbai, told reporters that two of the captured gunmen were British citizens of Pakistani origin. He gave no details.

Looks like they did capture some according to that article.
