Just after a rough idea on how much something should cost and don't have time to get lots of people around to quote etc so what should/would be charged for;

Installing a cold water tap for a washing machine with 3m of pipe with 2 bend, one goes through a wall and connects into the sinks water supply (new junction needed) and then following the same route having a waste pipe going into the sinks waste pipe (connection there already to take it).

Just a rough idea please.

Thank you!

40 - 60 i would say

Although I would personally charge 20 quid. but im crap with charging people lol

I'd say about £50 - £60 would be fair, more if he has to make holes in walls etc himself.

Aye no holes yet, also its freezeblock if that makes any difference

its Breezeblock dude :)

Just dont put it down to an hourly rate in your head. Because even though it might take him an hour... 10 quid isnt a reasonable price :)

I hate when ive done jobs and people are like "well it only took you two hours".. so frickin what.

Jobs have a price. Ya wouldnt get a plasterer to do your living room, then pay him by the hour. :)

I'd charge you £80 for that.

15mm pipe and 38mm waste would have to be run to the washing machine space and connected up under the sink or something.

If I called out a plumber to do that (London), I would expect to pay at least £150 or thereabouts.

Of course, now I know a little about plumbing and have a raft of tools, I just do it myself.
