Haven't no. No idea if it helps. Perhaps it would only benefit you if your pitch isn't good (obviously) or you've had a lot of home games in a short period of time?

Huntelaar was amazing for me on the last FM. If you don't shoot up the table then i'm not sure you ever will. Jimenez stats were misleading for me last year as well. I think his hidden stats like consistency tell the true story as he was never a great performer. Great deal on saviola for a free as well.

Btw isn't roy maakay like 45?

With all those players coming and going its wouldn't be a suprise if they don't gel together in the first few games of the season

Yeap. Anderson are Hargreaves are back but not fully fit. Will take a few sub appearence's get them back into the swing of things. Berbatov is the main concern. Out till the end of the season. Glad that there is no Euro's / World Cup anyway.

Yeah, Makaay was a backup, but i managed Saviola. So hes gone on a mutual.

Huntelaar has found form this season, but had MANY injuries at the start, and i dont mind this season, as long as we stay up, its trying to sort out a new tactic and get them to play together.

As for Saviola, he was offered to me free, even though he had a contract. So snapped him up! Also looking to replace the older players if i can, but i want some more english players lol!

Aye I went for Jimmy based on his stats/performances in FM08. This year he's rubbish. All of my strikers/midfielders apart from Jimmy and Lassana Diara have scored.

Hardly played Scholes, Giggs or Neville. Kept them in first team for a while then put them into the reserves. VDS played a bit but then I kept playing Foster. Then I got Franco so just alternated between the 2 Fs. Anderson/Carrick/Hargreaves/Jimenez/Fletcher/Diarra all played ahead of Scholes and Hargreaves, retrained as a DR, and Wes Brown covered Neville's place with the odd appearance from Rafael.
 
Finally got this, went Rangers, never clocked a win in pre season out of about 6 games, played linfield in the champions league and won both ties with a hamburg friendly won at home inbetween. beat falkirk in the first league match of the season JUST. Really struggling though, tried lots of tactics, changed sliders and still trying to get a right mix, maybe my midfield partnership isnt good :(

This game is stopping me from playing with my new Cowon A3 and Fallout 3 which I bought today!
 
Just started my 4th season, some big changes really..

Sold my best striker for £23.5m (£13.5m profit) to Man City..and loaned out the likes of Gudjohnsen etc.

Players in included a few unknown youngsters, and im signing Shaun Wright-Philips for £3.5m and then i have £45m+ to spend on others, im trying to get a good DL/DC/DR/DM but cant decide who... trying to get more english blood :p.

Will update sales once this match has finished.

I brought Robinho for £33m lol

I was thinking that I might regret it but he is scoring left right and centre.

Javi Garcia is another that I would highly recommend. Put him on long shots as he scores a ton for me.

I have the problem now that I have too many front men and I dont want to get rid of any of them. Walcott cant get into my team but I desperately want to play him. I guess he will have to wait for my winning streak to end.

No more than one game after mentioning that robinho gets injured for two months and my winning streak comes to a messy end with defeats after Man Utd and Fulham!!!
 
Just had a game against Blackburn. Was getting pummelled until the 80th minute when it was 0-0, then I scored, was like "YAY!". But for some reason I knew they'd score, and they did in the 85th minute. I knew the game was teasing me, and it did it more when I got and scored a penalty in the 91st... but alas, the game rips of off yet again, and Blackburn equalised in the 95th :/
 
Finally won a trophy at the end of my 3rd season. Beat Inter 3-1 in the Champions League final. Berba scored a hatrick.


Arsenal are amazing in my game. They've just gone unbeaten in the league, finishing 11 points ahead of me in 2nd and 20 clear of Man City in 3rd.
 
Arsenal are much too good, yeah. Their players look fine though, I think maybe it is Wenger that needs toning down a notch because his tactics aren't always great against 'weaker' teams.

I tried to offload Carrick, Man City offered me £24.5m which I accepted, but he then rejected the contract they offered. I'll try again at the end of the season.
