How hard is it to figure out your national ins and income tax?

Hello all,

As above, how hard is it to figure this out?

Think I could be saving myself a fair chunk of cash by not using an umbrella company and doing this myself.

Most work out to percentages
Which is close, but not perfectly accurate
You have to use Tax & NI Tables to do that
