Option 2:

Whatever option to pick, he will get the following games off me:

Yeh, both consoles allow you to play in HD. If you live near a HomeBargain shop, then go in there and you can pick up a HDMI cable for £2.99 :D
 
I have the 60GB 360 and providing you are buying new it will have the HDMI connector.

The Elites are a waste of money now as the only difference is the color and the size of the hard drive.

Go with option 1 as there is more stuff there. the 60GB will be more than big enough and has the HDMI output.

Plus if he needs more space he can always buy a 120GB hd later or blag M$ into giving him one for free like I did :D
 
Definitely option one.

My new 60GB has currently got 7 games loaded on, a bit of DLC and 7.4GB free. So definitely more than enough space with the 60GB hard drives.

Option 1 sounds better, until you mention it is £215 !!
How much is option 2 (to compare).
