im still struggling with this server, i tried to mod the slot and put a larger card in but windows doesnt recognise it. So im guesing i need to try and find the smaller pci-e 1.0 card, but who makes them?

i have tried, and you will find there actually isnt a few of them at all.

This is pcie x 1 graphics cards, i.e. the little slot, hardly any show up

Quick google finds several nvidia based cards, 7300GT is the most common....buying one however may be more difficult!

You will need to be specific with your googling, I found a few, but obviously competitors rules mean I can't say where. £50 buys you a few however...

I can only find a galaxy 7300gt in the longer 16x variety.

the only card i can find i can buy is a matrox g550

Its a server, its being used as a file/print/ftp server but also as a cctv server, and the later is the killer, the cctv software or any cctv software i should say requires direct draw and overlay, of which the onboard ES1000 cannot do.
So i need to get someway of improving the graphics to get the cctv working.

Maybe a PCI graphics card of some sort (Radeon 9200 perhaps?) would be sufficient if its just standard CCTV software.
