On the den, I was watching a certain dragon proclaim that he is doing well for himself and has lots of children, and that they will be well looked after, but says that his 300 million will go to charity when he dies as he wants them to stand on their own feet.
Interestingly, my olds are starting to think the same way about my inheritance, and they are well off. And yes, they did look after me when I was young (basic food, and education but no car, playstation etc.). Whereas I am currently on the dole due to a tough job market, and unworkable business ideas, again due to a crowded market. But I do work hard and stand on my own feet, just not much to show for it. Though not impossible, the government is pushing the cost of living to extremes via rises in road tax etc. making it difficult for the average joe to live, and employers don't seem to take interest in qualifications any more, rather just those who will work for minimum wage without breaks.
Not a moan so I will firstly full congratulate the entrepreneur for the one in a million (possibly less) shot of becoming very successful. But I am of the opinion that the dragon has simply been working for charity his whole life minus a tiny cut for his house, car and lifestyle. What then was the point of making so many children? Just to prove a point that if he can do it, anyone can?
Well, I disagree, I mean of course people can achieve when they put their mind to things, but not always. IMHO, he should ensure that his offspring are given an equal split to ensure their children don't end up on the dole queue in the future being a drain on society, when in actuality, it is the charity scroungers that should be out there looking for a job. Education and upbringing is no guarantee of success no matter how hard you work. I for one will make sure my children will inherit what little I have, without a penny going to charity.
