decent leather wallet places?

Go into one of the big posh department stores and check their selections.

John Lewis, House of Fraser, Debenhams, you know the kind. They usually stock the good makers and with something as personal as a wallet you're going to want to handle the thing, test it out in your back pocket, etc.

Yep i agree with Sara, include next in those mentioned haha. i am only bigging it up as in store those prices quoted online are A LOT cheaper.

Just go to your nearest TKMAXX and get one of your choice.

I picked up a black Dents one several months ago and still smells awesome/feels awesome. Loads of variety to choose from around a tenner.

John Lewis for the win! (lameist phrase ever but gets the point across)

Mum got me one for uni for a tenner i think and its going very well :) (the wallet)

Bought a 'Thomas Nash' one from Debenhams a few years ago (think it's one of their own brands)... Still going strong. Wasn't much more than a tenner from what I remember, looks alright too.

yes its a lot for a wallet, should have mentioned itll be a 21st present, So looking for something a bit more special than your local 3quid equiv.

When I saw thread title I was going to suggest aspinal haha. I have one and its real nice so I'd say go with them. They have a new store in the Westfield centre I've heard.

I just couldn't have a 65 quid wallet lol. It'd always be worth more than what was in it. Someone would rob me, chuck the contents of the wallet out and keep the wallet.

Yeah, but you use wallets everyday and take them everywhere. So its good to invest in a decent one.

It was a flippant remark from me, but I could easily argue the other way - I use a wallet every day and take it everywhere, so I might as well get a cheap one cos it's gonna get worn out and used anyway so no point in getting an expensive one.

My ex gf braught me a lv billfold wallet(She was into fashion). I had it 4 years and still looks new.
But you can spend less, and still get ones that don't fall apart. I really would not spend that much on a wallet myself. My older cheap wallets used look worn out in about 1 year of heavy use.
