Top Clown returns Sunday 2nd November 2008 **SPOILERS**

I think one of the directors or producers or something had watched Aliens the day before they filmed that Lexus introduction :)

Didn't think you could drift a bus!

And a truck. ;)

Pretty good episode I thought.

A couple of small gripes that are bugging me though.

1, How many times do we have to see cars with a smoking tyres? -I don't mean during track action, where it looks the part, more, the obviously "induced for the camera" stuff. - It looks good the first few times you see it, sure..... (Perhaps, I'm getting old?)

2, WTF is the use of "Torques" all about then?

I wish they (the presenters) would lay off the acting / "I am wonderful" routine a bit. That said, they are doing something right.

I and a lot of others are still watching.

Well I thought that was good fun. I actually lol'ed a few times too! Good fun, and great to watch - almost forgot to do my ironing it was that entertaining!

Ditto with the "torques" stuff. It really grates on me. Would it kill them to use a number and a unit? I don't even care what unit they use. I don't care if they convert ft-lbs to fingerlength-bag of kumquats and use that for a laugh. People who don't know and don't care what torque is won't care anyway and it will still be useful to them - A has 30 more somethings of torque than B gives more of an impression than "A has more torques than B".

Or, for crying out loud, just say "torque". Singular. It's the net torque, so it's always singular.

The news was, I thought, particularly funny today. I like the ongoing jokes and the changes to them, e.g. "Are you wearing that for a bet?" popping up for several weeks.

I was hoping the "I was looking on the internet and I found this" bit would be about that fool who was caught driving down an icy road while eating milk and cereal from a bowl. Caught because, surprise surprise, they veered off into a post because a bowl in one hand and a spoon in the other doesn't leave a spare arm for steering with.

Watch out for Nurse Ninja!

The Torque thing annoys me - only because I don't understand it. :p

As was said in a previous thread on here.

Speed - How fast you hit the wall
Torque - How much of the wall you take with you

The simplest way to think of it is pulling power. You can get really technical with it if you want but it's likely you wont understand that ;)
