I suppose you mean atmosphere, but this is a chance to relive it all again. Sure, you know what is going to be around the corner, but it has a complete new face. I often play through games from the early 90s, the good ones still enchant me, what I would give to play Ocarina of Time in glorious 200x graphics.

As far as I'm aware they haven't mentioned Xen, I've seen a render of the Nihilanth, but that's it. I just hope they remove jump crouch.

Me too!

Although I had to give up, because after the 3rd game breaking bug I encountered I just didn't have the stones to go back the my previous save (2 hours away). I was in Xen though.

Play the original HALF LIFE instead of waiting for this. Nothing can compare to playing the original, not even if valve themselves did a remake.

Been following this for years, It's come along so far it's actually ridiculous....The amount of work and time they have put it, it's awesome.

I love the music as well, have you listened to the songs on they're site? They're done so well I think.

I actually got goosebumps watching that video! Haha, that to me...means I have to get it, end of really.

For people asking, it's a MOD yes, completely re-done...everything is as far as I am aware, the levels, models, skins, voice acting, all of it.

I believe they did have to go through Valve at one point, to see if it was actually ok for them to do this...Because when they started this, Valve also released Half Life: Source.

So glad they can carry on, to be fair, I can see a few of them landing jobs after this.

So true, or if you have it the HL: Source one...not that much different but it's a nice effect to have a few 'upgraded' textures.

you're a mentalist!, crouch jump pwns, yes it's unrealistic but this is one of the best things about the HL engine, you know where you can and can't go on the map

has a kinda quake feel to it, banana jumps and bunny hops make HL amazing
