WTD: 330i for 330Xi

Can remember last time it snowed, did 70 up the motorway to Basingstoke then had issues getting to the the car park. Once in I had a good drift session.

problem isnt the snow, its the compacted ice UNDER the snow that wouldnt be there had it been gritted.

Not always true, the grit can easily be washed away or just be covered by the ice packed under the snow if it's a couple inches deep...I found that out a couple of years ago.

hehe

Well, the dog enjoyed it :D

:(

I want snow...I really didn't feel like going to work today. Problem is, I use buses and trains, which will most likely keep running even if it snows. :(

Problem is getting to them, the traffic round here was a nightmare so took the day off instead.

It's a 2 min walk to the bus, then a 2 min one to the station, and the roads are very busy ones, so they'll get gritted if it's likely to snow.

Having said that, I checked the forecast and both where I live and where I work are looking at sun, rain and fog, that's it. :(

It's great how as soon as we have a bit of snow half the UK takes the day off.

Well I have taken it as an owed study day, thought that it was better than rocking in at 11.

it's because we're not prepared for it. I'm going in as soon as I can but if i can't physically get there what do you expect us to do :p
