Has anyone used these? Im looking at a top one for the Capri for around £150 and wondered what peoples experiences were with them. Either that or keep the car waxed really well?

There's a thread on scoobynet with a reply from a detailer saying your better off not bothering, they do more damage than they prevent.

A flapping cover is a very effective way of taking the shine off your paintwork.
