As title, got AC for a tenner and I'm loving it, great game (for the money :))

I was a bit of a late bloomer on the 360, and I'm wondering on what other dated blinders I've missed out on.

Currently Own:
Halo 3
Fight Night Round 3
Too Human
Fable II
Assassins Creed
Fracture (present, its carp)

Any oldies but goodies I can pick up for cheap?

Played GoW I up to the Kryll and a bit further, still worth getting?

Can't get skate for less than a tenner can you?

Don't think its a good time to buy it, if the sequel is out in Jan/Feb then buy it then for pennies if you don't want to shell out for skate 2. :p

Assassins creed is very very boring, this is why there are two "asses" at the the start.

I thought it was very good , repetitive yes but other than that I thought it was excellent.

Got Bully from the games hire company Im with , didnt like the look of it at all but I really enjoyed it.
Play for hours or 20 minutes at a time - up to you! Plenty to do!
Its not the best game ever made but one thing it has over many , many others is that its FUN.

I'm currently playing through Assassin'c Creed for the first time too,

I'm amazed at the size, graphics and believeability of the world, yes it's a bit bland but makes a change from FIFA

Oh and get dead rising

Dead Rising
The Darkness
Test Drive Unlimited
Mass Effect
COD2
PGR4
Condemned
Blue Dragon
Crackdown
GRAW

Some cracking games there :)

Dead Rising for sure, but heed my warning:

I just re-bought it. Got rid of Gears 2 and CoD5 for this far more fun game.

However, several things:

It's made by Capcom. Capcom are proud owners of the trophy for 'most cheap ways to kill you". Seriously. The boss fights in this might have you tearing your hair out. I JUST bought it again, started fighting the gun shop owner, got angry, smacked my table, perfect circled my disk and now have to go buy another one!

Also, make sure you know beforehand that this isn't the sort of game where you just play and can pretty much experience everything on one play through. To fully complete the game you're probably gonna need several play throughs, and to experience everything will take a lot of gaming.

If you're using standard def TV, reading the text on the screen is a nightmare.

Saying that though, this game is an absolute pinnacle of excellence. So much stuff to do and explore. Just mindlessly murdering zombies is worth the price alone! When you get some better skills for your character, and find some of the more interesting construction tools you'll know what I mean.

Stranglehold is good for a bit of mindless fun. Especially if you like John Woo films and Hard Boiled.

Paid £10 for mine new a couple months back.
