***Official Wrath of the Lich King Thread***(Contains spoilers)***

Can anyone tell me if you can buy a standard epic mount plus training anywhere in Northrend, or will I have to go back to Shadowmoon Valley? I have about 4700g now, so hope to have enough tonight. Additionally, is there a portal from Dalaran to Shattrath or vice versa? I've not really visited either of these cities since the expansion was released.

Yeah, portals to Shattrath from Dalaran are found in Horde/Alliance quarters. Not hard to miss, it will be amongst a long line of portals.

Well, apparently its untracable or something, but if they do happen to catch you I think its a lifetime ban once they do, not instantly for running it, just when/if they catch you.

Nah, i had an old account as a blood elf rogue.

Got to level 30 just before they changed the mount to 30 from 40.

Quit playing and started AoC... quit that and then have come back a year later as a mate offered me the triple xp incentive on new accounts.

I bought a new account etc. and then he fobbed me off and went back on his level 70 as he couldnt be bothered playing a low level.

Got annoyed. Quit again and re-subbed just a few weeks ago.

I had a night elf aswell that was level32 on my old account. Ive done all the quests im doing now (about 3 - 5 times) and im a little bored of them as its not my first character on this account.

Im just in experienced and want to get to level 30 again.

Oh and p.s im 25 :D not 20 so it probs would be a case of leaving the bot on for 5 hours so i level up to 30 :D

Trundling around on foot is pretty boring, but levelling is really fast these days so it's not worth the risk of getting your account banned.

When you hit 77 if you fly into dal theres a bloke standing right by where you land who will sell you all levels of riding skill and cold weather flying :)

Instead of using a bot and if you really want to, I own legit access to levelling guides if you want to use them as I don't. Since you have 2k posts I guess you can be trusted around here not to put the guides elsewhere on the net if I give you access. If you'd like them feel free to let me know and I can sort you for Alliance/Horde.
 
used glider tonnes, its awesomeo :), some of the paths some people have made are also good

used the av bot aswell and got a 3 hour ban, but that ones realy obvious

best bet is to do it on an account with nothing else on it, even if you buy the origional for £9.99 and it gets banned, it will have been worth it just for the amount of play time you'll have saved doing boring low level stuff, plus youll most likely be alright

just dont be obvious, but since everywhere low level will be pretty much deserted now it wont realy matter
 
I don't understand the performance of WoW.

I've never ever seen a PC run this game at a high framerate, no matter how powerful it is. Framerate always seems to get stuck at about 60 and go no higher, even with vsync off.


25-60fps on SLI GTX 280 and the same on a pc with a GeForce 7600GT. Seems to be something to do with the netcode to be honest.
 
Glider is detectable blizzard just doe'snt have the detection mechanism active all of the time it's pure luck if you get caught or not.

My FPS have been crap since the expansion.. Personally i think blizzard are trying to do to much with an old graphics engine which is leading to poor performance.
 
The new shadows can kill performance quite a lot.

not really had any issues with performance with Wow so far pretty much maxed out (1680x1050) but i have reduced FSAA to x4 from 8.

Only really got bad for me a few nights ago when we did the 40 man city raids for the 'for the alliance' acheivment, all the guards + 40 player + all spells and it became a bit of a slide show, there were 6 or 7 death nights using death and decay and that was really reducing fps, when it ran out there was an obvious improvement in fps.

note, i can't stand bot users, i report any i find and there always very obvious.
 
Im making an absolute fortune as a 450/450 miner/bs, got people everywhere wanting the Titansteel stuff made and they are paying a bucket load to have them, like 30 mins before DT, someone wanted the shield after seeing it on my char, he went and bought all the mats..which on my realm is currently at 1100 for the lot, and payed me 600 to make it...similar type of thing for the others getting tipped like 400....heres the kicker...they are buying my titansteel bars from the AH at 340 a pop, so im getting more from them, which they seem totally oblivious about.

I love it lol
 
go to scholar basin or icecrown and farm Saronite and sell that, and in the process you will find a few titanium nodes, smelt into titansteel and sell (20 hour cooldown on that though)
