Arsenal's team:
Fabianski, Rodgers, Hoyte, Silvestre, Gibbs, Randall, Ramsey, Merida, Wilshere, Bendtner, Vela.
Bench: Mannone, Bischoff, Coquelin, Lansbury, Simpson, Steer, Frimpong.

Rodgers is a new name for me, presumably he's a central defender, and that lineup is in the wrong order? Also shame not to see Simpson start, hope he gets 30 mins.

Off to watch this in the other room now. After all, it's all Arsenal have to look forward to before we get relegated this season*. :)

Arsenal youngsters are probably THE most entertaining team to watch at the moment :)
Plus it brings on the whole "their not really youngsters and practically their starting 11, wah wah " arguments :D

Could have been 1-1, and they could have had another decent shot on goal if one of their players hadn't slipped over. This game is ace already. Never offside for theirs either, despite Sky saying it was "questionable".

Christ on a bike, Fabianski makes Phillipe Senderos look consistently calm and composed.

EDIT: Wahey, as if on cue, he makes a quality save.

Woop, nearly! We had a decent spell in possession for a bit after the goal, then Burnley had the chances, then it's us again. Football, hmm, isn't it?

I have to say I know we're famed for trying to walk it into the net, but the passing around the opposition's box really does make me think the ****ers are feeling the cold.

Come on Gunners!

What in the holy hell was that supposed to be?

Overhead backpass to Fabianski from about 40 yards out. Madness!

This is rubbish.
No it isn't.

It's been a really even game so far. Only poor finishing, atrocious long-range shots, and good 'keeping have kept us off the scoresheet (although you could probably say likewise for Burnley getting more). Burnley haven't given us the time and space on the ball that Sheff Utd and Wigan did, and they've played better football when they've had it too.

Silvestre couldn't organise a ****-up in a brewery mind, let alone an entire back four.

Bit disappointed with some of our finishing, no surprise who the biggest culprit is. Good game though and i think we'll defo see some goals in the 2nd half.
