Liverpool in trouble?

The FA are comparing McCormick to Shield? I'm sorry but if Shield's is guilty I'll eat my hat and support Spurs. Shield's is innocent.

Yes, but the evidence, well there wasn't any. Heck someone else even admit that he did it (since retracted)

The FA have confirmed that they're taking no action.
Don’t they just want him deported and trailed in England?

He's already back in the UK and he's got a review of his case starting tomorrow. What happened on Monday was just a show of support and a call for justice to be done.

I could understand the FA being upset about this... Had Shields been tried and found guilty in a British court and not a Bulgarian one.

Weird situation really. I have to feel sorry for him, the best night of Liverpool's recent (he's young, so his) history and he'll never want to remember an ounce of it again.

Hope he can get it all back in some way.

Was at the game and did think its a little strange. I know the chances of him having done it are slim but he was proven guilty (abit not stickly after a fair trial) and I'm not sure what the club would get out of supporting him.

I agree with the stuff like that article mentions regarding Fowler in 97 revealing a tshirt about sacked dock workers (why he should be fined at all for something like that is beyond stupid)

I dont agree how any club should orchestrate something so massive about a murder case though, and AFTER the Norris case regarding the goal celebration they know the FA is being strict about this kind of thing and then do something even more obvious (shirts while warming up and then the mosiac also and the half time comments/leaflet stuff)

doing ONE of those things - even the mosiac before/during the game and sure , highlight an issue as it WILL be shown on tv but not everything
