Wasn't that disabled just before they launched it?

Regardless, I'm hoping that it's still "there" and just requires a firmware to activate it..

Yeah just read the above. Also told my 3 N96 to search for an update and it seems to have found one so a heads up that there is an update available, not sure of changes mind

How do you search for updates?

Go tools > Utilities > Device Manager > options > check for update

Skippi - Different mobile operators put their own firmware on the N96 hence why you have no update yet.

I am pretty sure that you can debrand your phone and change its product code to a generic one and then update to firmware without your operators branding etc. It may well invalidate your warranty if your worried about that type of thing.

Its perfectly legal but will invalidate your warranty if you do it.
