Alternatively if you have a carcase to hand you can make your own. Just add boiling water and leave to simmer for about 2-3 hours

yahoo finance or similar, it'll tell you the total quantity in circulation.

just happened to be first company you could click from homepage. Market cap is generally the value of all shares. most sites that list stock price also list market cap if not the actual share's numbers aswell which this site does. but market cap divided by share price will give you number of shares.

Get a quote from somewhere like sharecrazy.

E.g. BAE Systems has 3,526,392,790 (Ord 2.5p) shares in issue - from here

shares outstanding? really come on guys... its in the accounts.. also now really isnt a time to be punting around if you have no idea, but if you decide to go for it then only "bet" what you can afford to lose..

You want to know how many authorised shares a company has after the allotted and fully paid up shares are taken away? It's a disclosure in financial statements so you could get a copy from Company House, or their latest annual return but I cannae remember if that shows quantity of authorised shares. You could also directly ask the company, they may tell you but then again they'd probably tell you to stick it.
