:eek: After much research... the symbol after the equals sign.. is indeed a standby power sign... therefore it is definatly any other gaming console which turns on.
 
Its pretty much a universal symbol for power.

I don't know if its a combination of I/O (Making the PS3 symbol wrong/redundant) or something else entirely.

EDIT: As Marky said, its a standard standby power button so technically it is a combination of I/O. The PS3 button shows that it is for changing the console from On to Standby (or vice versa)

Would they really use the power button without know how prevalent as an icon it is in video and console gaming? It's a very deliberate choice of logo and I will be surprised if it turns out it's nothing to do with the 360.
 
As i said in robert1986s previous thread (which he foolishly posted in the PC gaming section :p); The PS3, my dvd player and my TV all have the same symbol on them, maybe we're reading into it too much.

Everyone who's seen it has instantly thought of the 360.

This wouldn't have been lost on the people who put it up.

No i thought it was a power on button from just about all consumer electronics lol. The whole thing dont make much sense though, still find out on monday i guess.
