dead rising 2 confirmed

When I first bought DR I played it for about an hour and gave up (good job I waited till it was £20 before I bought it). I started playing again about a month ago (..a year or more down the line) for a whole weekend and got quite far. I seem to be short of weapons and have areas shoulder to shoulder full of zombies lol.

Its not really my sort of game though, but it is fun killing lots and lots of zombies. I found the "timer" on objectives annoying and made me rush around trying to complete them..

I really hope they put MP in it, Not sure how well MP will cope with about a zillion zombies but it would be awesome to run about with 4 friends hacking and slashing your way around a zombie infested mall (or similar setting)

DR was a bit of a marmite game. But once you got to grips with its mechanics (by this I mean the load vs restart system) then you were well on your way.

I think I didn't actually start on the story in earnest until I was seriously leveled up. No point at the lower levels. So I only did bits and pieces of the story for practice and figured out which weapons were for fun and which were for serious personal defense. If I died I restarted and did it all over again until I was strong enough to deal with the infestation and I had enough slots to carry the stuff I needed.

I really cant wait for the sequel. I just hope this games studio does the game justice.
 
Can anyone explain why both Dead Rising and Left4Dead have the same achievement; 'Zombie Genocidest', which involves killing the same amount of zombies (53594)? Does Valve just like DR?

You not interested in doing L4D coop then?
