My Paris Trip

Just a few from my trip to Paris, was not the best weather for photo's as it was raining most of the time but still had fun. CC Welcome

Eiffel Tower

Deep under Paris is the catacombs where over 1 million body's are laid out with skulls and bones.

nice pictures! i like the catacomb ones, lots of atmosphere.
black and white really works well for 4.
the subtle colour in 3 adds to the picture as well.
1 is a little to saturated for me, tho i like the angle of the shot.

Thanks but number 1 has no saturation on it, its that bright in real life. :eek:

My GF wanted a moody looking picture like that

she was the one who dragged me round the galleries so i should have had the board face

what were the catacombs like? Only thing I missed when I went the other week!

Spent 3 hours in just 1 section of the louvre and it closed at 5:30pm! Thought it was 9pm but thats just the middle part of it, everything else closed at 5:30

Catacomb's was amazing, there is just tunnels and tunnels of human remains its a little ere at first but after a wile you kind of get used to it because there is so many body's & bones. I could have spent hours down there taking pic's but the GF was thinking otherwise.

There is something really cool about no.2, that I can't quite put my finger on!

The catacomb pics are quite harrowing :/ Because of the subject of course, not the because of the photos!

Paris always been one of my favourite cities....plenty of photos to take, too many places to take them!

Yeh we nearly didn't go, but glad we did in the end as it was a real eye opener.
