Oddly enough that's almost exactly what I picture you as, I'm not sure Nicholson captures the look of insanity properly though. ;) Welcome back.

On a football related note, Rangers humped Hamilton 7-1 and Dundee Utd beat Inverness 3-1 and St Mirren beat Falkirk 2-1. Motherwell vs Hearts and Kilmarnock vs Aberdeen were called off due to frozen pitches.

I really wouldnt mind him going (even in Jan, even though that wont happen) but more than happy if he were to go in the summer - even if it isnt for an outlandish sum of money

Do the majority of United fans share this view?

That is so unbelievably fickle from you Franky boy.

G|mp, only occurred to me yesterday where the **** you were, wb.

Even though we are top of the league after looking at the run of fixtures United have 2nd half of the season I can't see past them winning the league at the min.

Our inability to dispatch opposition clinically will cost us at some point as it has done for the last 20 years. In fact, it could already be argued that it has. The draws against Stoke, Fulham and West Ham should be 6 extra points in the bag.

We make such hard work of winning and if Torres or Gerrard aren't playing or are off their game I just can't see where the goals are going to come from.

Keeping my feet firmly on the ground...

Couldn't agree more, we really should have beat Stoke, Fulham and West Ham

I wanted him sold in the summer, I still do now.
I don't think its unreasonable to not want players who clearly don't want to be at your club, to not want players who bring shame to the club with diving and various theatrics and to not want players whose presence must be having a negative effect on the squad.
It was one thing when he was in a once in a life time run of form (last season) but thus far this year, he's been poor by comparison.
So considering this (and the simple fact that these problems arnt going to go away, that hes always going to play act for example and hes always going to be wanting to move to Real) I consider it best for us he leaves sooner rather than later.
Hes made it clear its a matter of when, not if. So I say 'now' ;)

Oh hai.

Fabio is still recovering from his shoulder operation and is training but not fit enough to just replace Evra.

It will be John O'****

Even given the 3 weeks or so before we play another league game (after Spurs)?

I as kinda hoping he would be at least see a sub appearance or two

.

No - not really

May not be as.....dynamic but I would much rather have Owen Hargeaves available until the end of the season than Ronaldo (can play decently in a lot more positions, and is a decent dead ball kicker too - and absolutely no acting up)

Right back - Midfield - Winger all to OH's credit, and the only place Ronny plays very well is on either wing, yes he has been deployed several times as a striker and most of the time been pretty comparatively invisible

I admit I didnt want him sold last summer - but in the last few weeks he has just really got on my nerves and seemingly acted up more than usual (and I dont mean the handball, which I still dont think he made any move to take advantage from, unlike Scholes).

I wouldnt go as far as johnnyccc above - IF the histrionics wherent present, I could forigve his form as a player taking longer to recover from his first major surgery at a youngish age - but its all the acting up etc thats really got on my wick

Maybe yesterday was just the straw that broke the camel's back ....
