Sunny Saturday ride

Took my bike for a long ride on Saturday. The weather was as good as it was going to get really and although some of the back roads were generally greasy, it dried up nicely on the more open areas.

Wanted to go out today as the sun was brilliant but it was super icy so had to can it. Any one else go for a ride this weekend ?

Would have loved to go for a ride this weekend, but didn't take my kit to any of the dealers I went to

Never know though, if/when I collect the R1, I may get to go for a decent first ride.... since.... July 27th

Same here. Wasted it by riding around on L Plates for a year and then buying a car.

It was a tad cold, but 4 layers under my leathers and I managed a good four hours on the roads.

CBR600F, eh. I was thinking about the VFR800 for next year.

I spent my Saturday trying to go walking somewhere in't country, but failing due to post-alcohol intake illness.

it's £100 for the standard service I think, then it needs new front and rear mudguards, a new rear tire, new sprocket and some other minor stuff. I thought it was expensive too.

Yeah I went for a ride on Saturday... froze my nadgers off doing it though

Still worth it!

A couple of scary on power wobbles, but nothing too dramatic - I think I'm going to be putting her away soon though

I'm not the winter biker I used to be!

It was a bit of a hassle doing it again, but it was highly worth while. It makes you realise how poor your observation skills generally are as a car driver and having past my bike test I am now a better car driver.

The CBR600 is a very nice bike, the weather is a bit to cold for me at the moment, the last photo's i took of my bike was nearly two months ago (posted in this forum) when i went to Scarbourgh, anyway here is a couple of the pics.
