I shop in that mall frequently and it was funny to see big skid marks through it... There's a few still left around the site.

Worst TG episode ever. End of.
Agreed, I really can't see what they could have done to make it better.
Dogs with killer bee's in their mouths that shot out when the barked. That would have of nailed it for me.
I think it's nice to have what I'd call a nearly normal episode for once. The Caterham and Veritas feature was good - and the Caterham was very impressive being faster than the Veyron. The Commi cars segment was interesting apart from the race and fire with the marina. Boris Johnson was a great guest to have and there was almost serious relevant conversation. The normal test review was informative as well as very funny.
The whole show has the jokey micky take top gear manner and some of it works nicely (the shopping mall) and some of it annoys me (the marines stunt - impressive but pointless). As others have said with the challenges and stunts they are getting more and more extreme every time, the turning point for me was the space shuttle. I miss the simpler more fun stuff like the Coupe challenge.

Hardly. I've loved nearly every episode since 'new' Top gear started years back - hell it's my favourite program on TV - but tonight was one of the worst IMO during that time.
Had more interesting / funny features?
Hammond's Caterham segment was poor, he struggles in comparison to Clarkson with track tests (yes I know Clarkson didn't fit in the car...)
The Communist feature was the best part, but still not a patch on a normal feature.
Star in a RPC was same as always
Fiesta test was boring.

Actually review a car for a change. And by that I mean properly review it like in the good old days, which incendently, was much more funny!

R500 feature was great.
Fiesta was good fun.
The rest I just ignored and did other things round the house. It wasn't that fun an episode for me. Maybe I'm tired, but I just found it quite dull.

Yeah. Ep was OK, not amazing. Guess like Freefaller above I must have been tired. Even the jovial communism segment wasn't THAT funny. The fiesta review wasn't that great either. Interested to know how you can get permission to razz about a shopping mall with 2 cars like that?
The veritas was hidious. I thought the point of these type of cars was supercar performance for cheap as chip track day funs. The veritas misses the point totally. Boris was alright. Would have been better if it wasn't VW.
