Hi,

Probably a stupid question but I guess there is no change of getting a free PS3 with a 16GB Iphone right?

Yeh very much doubt this tbh, I spent a good 2 weeks browsing all the websites doing those deals and none had the iphone. Only retailers are O2, CPWH and Apple themselves (through the stores only though).

The "free" Playstations are of course not free, and factored into the contract cost. If you want to pay £70 odd a month for 18 months I'm sure someone would give you a "free" PS3.

You can get a free Playstation 3 on £30 a month contracts, the phones are very low-spec though. Most come on £35/£40 a month contracts.

He wants a 'free' PS3 on an iphone contract. Not a 'free' PS3 on any old contract.

as a general rule, if you have to pay for the phone, you're not going ot get any free gifts

no chance at all i'm afraid, the deals you see at O2 and CPW are what you get. I believe O2 has a contract with Apple where it is not allowed to haggle prices?

if you hold out for a little while, there may be some cashback/redemption deals in the future.
Towards the bottom of the iPhone contracts, there's a section that says "If you have a cashback or redemption offer..."

Is this on the o2 or carphonewarehouse website?

I know it has them on the Carphone Warehouse in store contracts, haven't seen O2's ones but I imagine they would be the same
