Haha. The reviewer seems like he has no clue about what the game actually is about, and focuses on a few small points in the 3D view which don't affect the gameplay :confused:

Exactly. I never just play FM, I browse the net, put on some music and play FM.

And yeah, I would hate this game so much if I had to listen to someone's awful choice of game-music all the time.

Yep I just listen to my music. It wouldn't matter if FM had a soundtrack, you can turn sounds off so no reason for SI to remove that feature especially if they inflict their own musical tastes on us.

Currently listening to Queen's Greatest Hits I, II and III. :cool:
 
So is FM09 worth upgrading to if you have FM08? Ive got FM08 with the updated 08/09 database so wondering if im gonna bother?

Yeah I think so, they're always worth upgrading imo. Can be picked up fairly cheaply and the amount of hours you get out of it is unparalleled in gaming.

Yes, you can spend £20million on a player with monthly payments over a maximum of 24 months if you only have say £5million transfer money available.

Do keep an eye out though when using monthly payments as you can get in debt quicky if you overdo it :D

I thought you could only offer twice your current budget, or has that changed? In old FMs, if you had, say, £17m in your budget, then you could only offer a maximum of £34m over 24 months.

I'm not sure how much you can offer to be honest over the budget with monthly payments.

I always manage Barcelona so money isn't really an issue.

I'm in the first season with Barca. The current balance is £64 million and transfer budget is £66million due to selling players at the end of the season.

The maximum I can offer for a player with the monthly payments is £40million.

Wow, Huntelaar is on form for me :D.

Played 27, scored 27, 5 assists and 8 MOTM average rating of 7.56.

In league top scorers are;

Huntelaar - 23
Adebayour - 12
Bent - 10
Walcott - 10
Aquino - 10

Not bad!

Also, the Average Rating thing for Prem, all 4 players are mine :D.

Aguero/Camacho have been brilliant since i signed them. Aguero has played 4 games, scored 3 and has an assist/motm. Already added £1m to his value.

I'm currently mirroring Villa in real-life, as i'm 4th/5th, midfielders/defenders scoring my goals, strikers scared to shoot and unstoppable at home.

Barry has become awful though, dunno why, he gets like 5.5 rating each game, he's playing MC. I'll probably lose him on a free anyway, as 6 months left on contract. Sent Adriano on loan, need a top striker not a kid, until the wonderkids improve. Got £16m i think to spend.
 
That Rivaldo screenshot is ace. Good to see that in his old age he's still kept his technical attributes as they are something a player wouldn't lose. Its just the physical stats that would be shocking like they are!
 
With 93 minutes gone of the final game of the season, Aguero is played clean through behind the defence, smartly rounds the keeper, and faced with a completely open goal, hits the post.

I can't envisage a more painful way of failing to win the title. Just to rub salt into the wound, I made it to the Champions League final and lost, as well.

(maybe Aguero wasn't worth £57m after all lol)
