Ok I haven't kept up with this thread due to lack of time.

But can someone just give me an update/summary of the graphics/performance/bug/crashing situation atm. ie. what fixes have there been etc. if they work etc..

I was just running this in Windows 7 and it appeared much more faster even tho I'm running in x86 so only 3.3mb ram.

Only problem is this constant 1 second freezing.

That’s the one it’s called a Sentinel I think, most of if not all the cars in the game seem to represent real life cars just modelled a bit different.

i have 2 questions

1. can you get over the bridges without the cops going on high alert ?
2. why is it when i go to multiplayer and select a game as soon as i get in the lobby i get removed from the game ?

any ideas

I can only give a possible fix on question 2. On the Xbox version if you couldn’t join a multiplayer game and got a disconnection message it meant the ports were not open on your router could this be the same for the PC version as well? Maybe turn the firewall off as well ect..

You can go over any bridges, it’s just the Airport where the Police go on high alert

You need to progress far enough through the story to unlock the city.

Also stop and pay the toll of $5 at the barriers on some bridges else you get chased.

In MP you don’t have to pay to cross which is good

i can seem to find any options to play multiplayer? i have installed the games for windows update, im i missing something?

Yes mine started to do it yesterday, normally before the phone rings or as I'm changing radio station
