Porsche sent me a USB key

Hey chappies,

Have just picked up my work post and found Porsche (or a dealer) has sent me a nice shiney leatherbound usb key. Was just wondering if anybody else got one and why the hell I got one.

It's not the same as the snazzy ones you can buy from Porsche but still good for a freebie.

Should see the Brocade freebies, like the switches, their USB keys are build to survive nuclear holocaust.

Ooooooh, almost forgot.

Found my Crucial Gizmo Overdive (1GB RAID 0 like drive) in the washing machine after a full cycle. Thought; "What the ****!" and put it in the dryer too. Now it's not longer wet, but melted.

Plugged it in, not only does it work fine, but it retained all data.

That's a key for a new Porsche. The OP just wiped the key to a new car, now he can't collect it. :eek:

What is it with companies sending out USB drives for freebies this year! I've had loads from HP, Dell, Compellent, Avaya and QLogic.

Sadly they are all nasty cheep plastic ones, cheep gits at HP sent me a 512Mb one!

Some guy called Muffin gets it for being the lamest attempt ever.
