Scaffolding (Ear piercing) - Anyone had it done?

just be aware your ear might not be suitable for this due to the size and shape of it. mine isn't, i just poked lots of holes in me instead.
 
This has made me think.. has anyone got like a star or spiders web where the piercings are around the flap of the ear, and the center of the web/star is over the ear hole.. if anyone gets what I mean?

I think it looks good however i wouldn't get it done i like my ears the way they are. Had a mate who had a BCR on the top of his ear said it was quite painfull and had ringing in his ears for a day but that was about the worst of it.

Have not seen him in ages though.

Ringing in his ear? What did they pierce it with, a handgun?

Did you get this done? How'd it go and which method did you go for? Pics?
 
I had one done couple of years ago. I had two rings put in to help it heal first then i was going to put a bar through them. I would bath it every day for about 2 months in a sea salt soak but it just never healed, after a year i gave up and took them out. I could never wear a beanie or sleep on my side due to the pain. I don't regret having it done and wish it healed so i could get the bar in :(

Now i have a couple of small lumps on my ear.

DOH! didnt notice the date......

I have absolutely nothing against what the OP is talking about, but I am curious as to why we are able to post images from that particular site, given some of the content it contains?

Just curious is all :).
