If released to the casual gamer, they wont care if its open beta. If it provides a bad first impression they will all most likely slate it.
PlayStation.Blog said:...First of all, the Central Plaza now features a new 4 player mini-game called “Saucer Pop,” where each player launches a flying saucer from a take-off pad and flies around popping bubbles. These bubbles contain stars that have points attached, but watch out for the bubbles with bombs which will take you out if you’re not careful. You also must keep an eye on your saucer’s fuel gauge and collect bubbles with fuel cells or else you will quickly meet a watery fate. Success is all about the high scores, so good luck out there! I’ve been playing for a while now while we’ve been developing the game, so I’m getting pretty good…for those of you that know me, prepare to pop!
Secondly, you will also see some changes to Listen@Home. Now, you’ll be able to select from a number of songs and vote on your favorites. Which ever song gets the most votes plays for everyone, so be sure to get your voice heard and get down on the dance floor....
Been in the works so long i have kinda forgot about it and couldn't care less now.
the best part of the beta is being able to play chess and thats saything something
I have just deleted my Playstation Home beta application that I was kindly allowed to re-download from a fellow forum member's PSN account. I think it's probably best if I download this open beta with my own PSN account. That way I can get all the new stuff potentially hassle and problem free. I'm wondering if the existing beta users will be prompted to update their Home application? Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the improvements tomorrow but am not holding my breath for anything spectacular. This music voting idea sounds innovative and original. Should be interesting to see what it is like tomorrow night.
some dog on PS3 forums said:A few things of note to tell you today now the main news is out:
-Tomorrow Home will be offline for some time. Judging by the level of anticipation you'll know of its return within nano seconds
-Once its back online we will be running version 1.03 and all those with the current version will be offered a patch. The patch simply supports the server changes being made to support Open Beta
-From Open beta onwards the age limit for Home within SCEE will change from 18+ to 16+
-Once the Open Beta is up and running the Home icon will be on your XMB under PlayStation®Network. If you cant see it please restart your PS3 which will update your XMB. However, wait until Home is up and running first
-Home will be available to everyone who has a PlayStation®Store
-The Red Bull Air Race will not be included tomorrow, but will arrive within days. It will be worth the wait.
-Please remember, this really is a Beta.
Welcome aboard everyone, we hope you enjoy the journey over the months and years ahead.
yeah right, so you're gonna totally ignore it when it comes out then ?
Did i say i would ignore it? I said i couldn't care less about it. Doesn't mean that i wont download it.
lol @ you. If you couldn't care less about it then why download it ?![]()
I do have better things to do than walk around a virtual shopping mall when i could be in a real one.
