Hmmm, while they have to get it out of the door, if they release it in its current state it's going to get panned. It's far too unfinished, for example it only supports game launching for 1 game!

It's going to be a full open beta release so dont expect much content.

If released to the casual gamer, they wont care if its open beta. If it provides a bad first impression they will all most likely slate it.

Some people will slate it no matter how good it is or how much content it has. It clearly says that is a beta when you fire it up and peoples expectations should be set accordingly.

May be worth logging in today and grabbing anything available in the existing stores for Beta people. I am sure I read somewhere that any content you have will be kept in Open Beta.

I am guessing tomorrow we get back all the features that people who were in the older Beta had. From what I read lots of content was removed for the new testers (last few weeks) to stress test the servers.

The USA site says they are adding a new game and changing their Central Plaza tomorrow (Our Home Square equivalent).

Dunno what this Listen@Home feature is they speak of. They say they are changing it, I haven't even noticed it in the existing beta!

I have just deleted my Playstation Home beta application that I was kindly allowed to re-download from a fellow forum member's PSN account. I think it's probably best if I download this open beta with my own PSN account. That way I can get all the new stuff potentially hassle and problem free. I'm wondering if the existing beta users will be prompted to update their Home application? Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the improvements tomorrow but am not holding my breath for anything spectacular. This music voting idea sounds innovative and original. Should be interesting to see what it is like tomorrow night.

-Tomorrow Home will be offline for some time. Judging by the level of anticipation you'll know of its return within nano seconds
-Once its back online we will be running version 1.03 and all those with the current version will be offered a patch. The patch simply supports the server changes being made to support Open Beta
-From Open beta onwards the age limit for Home within SCEE will change from 18+ to 16+
-Once the Open Beta is up and running the Home icon will be on your XMB under PlayStation®Network. If you cant see it please restart your PS3 which will update your XMB. However, wait until Home is up and running first
-Home will be available to everyone who has a PlayStation®Store
-The Red Bull Air Race will not be included tomorrow, but will arrive within days. It will be worth the wait.

Cause im intrigued to see what its like. Im not going "ZOMG HOMEZ IZ HEREZ ATZ LASTZ!!!111112". There is nothing special about it. Basically Second Life without the junk.

I do have better things to do than walk around a virtual shopping mall when i could be in a real one.
