Hey guys,

I've been asked to think of a present i might like for xmas, problem is, i can't think of any, i haven't really kept up to date on what's hot and what's not recently.

I would like something fun and got a fair bit of action and that's got a bit of longevity to it. I read a review of Prince of Persia earlier, but i imagine that'd last an afternoon at most!
Can anyone suggest any really good PC/360 games that have come out in the last 6 months or so?

Thanks, i'll keep looking around sites in anticipation of one of you guys coming up with some awesome answer :D

Yeah just been having a look at those 2, i didn't really like oblivion much, so i'm worried that Fallout is more of the same?

Fable 2 is a good idea, though it's a bit too easy and simple, so i hear?

I really didnt like Oblivion but I can't stop playing Fallout 3. Its a totally different universe and I think that's what makes it feel like a different game.

Easily my game of the year. If you want something that'll last for a whole year though I'd go with FIFA 09.

Its the opposite for me between Oblivion and Fallout 3, I loved Oblivion but still can't get in to Fallout at all. If you like football, Fifa '09 is definitely a good game to get. I would recommend Fable 2 as well, can last quite a while if you do the side quests as well as the main quest.

Also, as others have said, COD will take up hours of your life if you like FPS games, the online multiplayer is highly addictive! Though I would recommend COD4 over COD World at War.

Hmmm, Call of Duty World at War will have more people online now though surely?

So wouldn't that be the better of the two, in that respect at least.

I only have a silver account, i'll need to upgrade if i had it on xbox too would i not?

GTA4 is probably my favorite game of the year and if you do The Main story, side missions, assasinations, most wanted and achievements you'll get around 30+ hours out of it.

I would say Left 4 dead or Fallout 3 all on PC though, as the mod scene for both games will keep it ahead of its console version, as long as your PC is up to it.
