I have a good understanding of politics and I don't like Brown.

I thought the same thing about labour in 97

Fair enough, I didn't say everyone, but it is the majority who are vocal about it. All the people who pick up the Sun in the morning and read a headline and base their facts on that

Brown now, cameron if/when he gets in will be just as disliked. TBH have a huge fight and winner becomes King/Queen, worked better back then and less money wasted on managers :-P

Aye, if Cameron gets the PM job, he'll be extremely unpopular, but here's no way around that. He will HAVE to either cut spending severely or raise taxes in order to start digging this country out of the pit that Labour have been busy digging for the past 11 years. But it's better than Labour's policy of "let's borrow our way out of a crisis that was caused by excessive borrowing".

I know, but the point I'm getting at is people who are saying "lol brown for the lose!!!11, cameron for the win" as if he's suddenly going to make everything awesome again, like you said, he'll be just as unpopular, and any decision he makes will be perceived to be just as bad as Browns are now

Anyone who thinks that there is a quick to this is completely wrong, but I do think what Cameron is proposing is far better than Brown and Darling crippling us with debt

No. Brown is unpopular AND incompetent. There's a chance that Cameron will merely be unpopular.
