kaspersky 2009 antivirus

hi just built a new system but i hate symantec i have had a look on the kaspersky and the 2009 antivirus looks good but does it contain a firewall as i cant find the term on the site

Kaspersky Antivirus is anti-virus product only (no firewall protection)
Kaspersky Internet Security has firewall and anti-virus as well as other things.

Kaspersky Internet Security has the firewall as well as AV, I currently have it and I highly recommend it.

If you bank with Barclays you get a 3 user license for free

Thanks for all the replies internet security it is, i know its lightweight but can you notice it running does it effect the performance of your pc

I use Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, it's a cracking bit of kit and I'm really pleased with it.

The only time I notice any slowdown is when I switch the PC on, it does all it's updates etc. as it boots into Windows (though my PC is generally slow at booting as it is

)and that seems to take a while...apart from that I wouldn't even know it's there.

Yeah, but I like to know that it's fully updated, I just have to wander off for five minutes after switching it on, then I'm fine...I should note though that it isn't all Kasperskys fault...I somehow seem to fill my PC up with really important stuff (at the time) which is never used again and it slows down...need to get a good system together for clearing it out now and again.
