Is it best to be a Student?

Simple question, might create some complex answers though.

Care free, cheap beer, everything is paid for (for now) :p

I'm a student and have no money, and no idea what to do after being a student. I can't borrow any more or I'll have no chance of paying it off, and I don't even have a guaranteed stay in my rented house past may. So no, it would be better to be earning.

Incidently, what are the chances of finding a job now (or in january)? I am a student now but am most likely dropping out.

being a first/second year- yep
third of fourth... no. 2009 and 2010 are set to be the worst years for graduates ever.

Im inclined to disagree

Carefree:
Not really, theres no leaving your work at the office, your one room becomes your study, lounge, bedroom, dinning room. As soon as you wake up, your back in the office.

Cheap beerL
Fair enough.

everything paid for?
I don't know what you mean, yeah you get a loan, but thats not exactly getting it paid for.

I will admit the student life is pretty good, its interesting, dynamic and sociable. I guess your avoiding the bad job market for now, but thats not going to fix itself in the next 3 years!

Tarts to 'bang' two hours away eh?

lol :D

If you go out looking for ho's you can get it most nights in town tbh...

Theres a girl that was a halls housemate of this dirty girl.. She pointed her out for me the other day and apparently has slept with like 28 in 1 year... (took them bak to the halls) She looks like a skett too..

Nothing compared with when you are working properly though. :)

The difference is when I was a student I didn't really care about the money I had so spent it in ways I would never do now. Once your working 9-5 you appreciate your money more which for me at least stops me making some of the crazy impulse purchases or deciding to blow my last £20 on cheap vodka in a bar.

Having a secure job with good pay is the best situation :) .

I thought I had a secure job, but it's feeling less and less like it every day, at least students know they are safe and secure in there binge drinking heaven.
