I probably spent too much on my Amiga. Towered, PPC, 3d card. but the software never really came to take advantage of it all. QuakeII ran great on it, but that was the last game I played before ..moving on ;) It still works. uses a 16gb compact flash as a hd, and stores all the old games ready to run from hd.

Loving the Spectrum vid... can't believe how many of those I played back in the day :D. Didn't see Bounty Bob Strikes Back, Trans Am, Booty, Firelord or Uridium though. I loved those games to bits.

Shame there's not an Atari ST video as well :(

Wow, the Amiga video is amazing. I'd forgotten about so many old games I used to play as a kid. Thanks for the links :D

I used to love playing Heimdall. It's weird how brilliant the music was considering the spec of the machines at the time. I remember I mail ordered Allister Brimble's music cassette with music he'd made including the Project X stuff and other Team17 stuff he had done.

Seem to remember loving it

You just made me look at buying an amiga again lol

I towered my Amiga 1200. Runs absolutely perfectly and I must admit I play it a hell of a lot (can't get games like Turrican 2, SWoS, Speedball 2, Gods, Shadow Of The Beast, Darkmere, Dungeon Master, Bloodwych, etc. on the PC).

I can post pics if anyone is interested?

God Firelord was solid. I remember trying to complete it on the C64 (incidentally I still have a boxed C64 with @ 500 games) but never could. The teleport system was fun though.
