I never said the wheels are a copy, I said the look of having deep dish rims was a copy of the drifting cars from Japan (a look that I actually personally dislike).

Just to say i agree with you. :p

Streched dish rims is euro look. It can also be drift look if you want but it entirely depends on the car.

Japansese car = drift
Most euro boxes = Euro look

Yes, but I'm pretty sure the Japanese look came first, meaning the Euro look is a copy.

euro look is much more than just a set of rims, also, do drift cars have such stretched rubber? im guessing they dont?

Not as extreme as euro, but yes they do. In fact I think that's where it started. Fitting a slightly smaller width tyre gives you stiffer sidewalls which has numerous benefits.

Just spotted this on B&Q carpark, camber, stretched rubber and nice clean look, all adding to what i believe is known as "stance", maybe... anyways i thought it looked differant enough to deserve to be in here.

Taken on my N95, so not great photos. :p

nice parking for a 10 year old polo

Which is great for a drift car, but totally silly for an everyday car (if you go too low profile) as it will remove any suspension effects that the actual tyre provides.

It's also better to use low profile tyres designed for the application (which is what a true euro look is) rather than to stretch tyres designed for smaller rims.
