Ministry of Sound, London club.. dress code

Hey,

I'm going to Ministry of Sound in London on Saturday (excited!).

I'm a very much a tom boy type of girl though and am wondering what their dress code is like. Do they mind jeans for example?

I doubt it, jeans should be fine.

I've never been there myself, but if it's the sort of nightclub with a strict dresscode I'd rather not go there anyway!

Jeans are fine Went there last month - was very good until the last half hour where the DJ just ran out of ideas and started putting on some really cheesy music ¬_¬

Don't they purposefully put on something really mellow and cheesy at the end anyway?

Yea anything goes at Trance nights, I mean most of the lasses won't be wearing jeans anyway

Not sure - it was my first time going there - other than the end it was an awesome night though

Trance has completely and utterly died in Liverpool. God I miss bunny girls soo much

Not sure - it was my first time going there - other than the end it was an awesome night though

I think that they do, most places were asked to play something cheesy and mellow after it was suggested that there'd be fewer fights outside at closing up time. Think it might have worked

MOS is pretty awful. With regards to dress code i wouldn't worry too much unless you look like a stereotypical "hoodie". The doormen are a bit funny and the bouncers can be over-zealous too but that's probably a good thing considering the area it's in.

Atmosphere is average

Music depends on the DJs

Soundsystem is amazing BUT very very loud - earplugs are a must

Drinks are EXPENSIVE

To be honest the only good things I've heard about MOS is the sound system, suppose to be the loudest in the UK or something which depending on if you value your hearing might be a good thing? But apart from that I don't hear much about it, let me know how it is!

Yep, your hearing diminishes from the moment you are born, make the most of it you can... I'd wear the earplugs tho, no point in going deaf before you're 30!

I spent the last couple of hours outside in the smoking area when i went, it was simply hurting my ears inside...
