I wasn't able to get too much info on these so incase anyone else is thinking of making the jump to three heres a working setup.

I'm using the following displays
Hazro H24wi
LG 226WTQs x 2

The Hazro is in the centre with 2 LGs to the side.

Graphics cards are Geforce GTX 260 and Nvidia 9400GT

I see many of you having a single nvidia GT200 series with Intel mobo (i.e. no SLI option)

A cheap 9 series does work pretty well.

For multitasking I reccomend ultramon. I've got three taskbars, one for each screen.

I will post some pics later on if people are interested.

BTW driver set is 178.24 as I haven't upgraded yet to the 180s but that is on the list.

I'm interested. Also with the SLi option, does that mean they're working as two independant GPU's and can't combine GPU power to render games faster etc. etc?

Yer, Although I've heard this may have changed now.

But most people don't have SLI motherboard as they are expensive and not good as intel chipsets in any case.

If you want to game across all 3 screens you'll want to look into softTH if you haven't already...I've gone down the Matrox Triplehead2Go route instead which is more convenient in most ways with greater support, but divvying up the desktop in Vista x64 is much less convenient that your 3 separate screens + Ultramon setup.

Nah,

Single 24" is fine for gaming lol. GTX 260 can barely handle that. These screens at normal seating postion have a ridiculous FOV , unless im doing flight sim, its just not possible tbh lol.

hi guys

have either of you got a triple set up running all the monitors at 1920x1200 resolution? If so which graphics card(s) are you using.

Currently run 3 screens on an AGP matrox qid card but resolution capped at 1600x1200 and have upgraded to 1 24" screen, 2nd on its way so need capability for higher res.

Ideally Id like to keep machine as is (AGP) but expect im going to have to upgrade to a PCI-E system.

Would be interested to hear any solutions in the following preference:

Quad display all at 1920x1200 (AGP)
Dual Display both at 1920x1200 (AGP)
Quad display all at 1920x1200 (PCI-E)

thanks in advance

I never knew that triple screens were broken? :o :p

I've been running triple screens, with vista 64 bit for about 3 months now.

I've got 2 4850s. With crossfire on, I can run my two monitors all the time, with my 1080p TV disconnected, but I just turn crossfire off through catalyst control centre and then just enable my TV when I need it for the PC.

Two monitors are Dell 2408s, so it's almost a triple 1920x1200 set up :D.

I'll be getting a third Dell 2408 as soon as I've got the spare monies for it. :p

I'll then just be waiting until matrox update their triple head to go to support 3 1920x1200 monitors, I'll only be buying one once it supports the screens I'll have.

I'm pretty sure it'll happen, since they've already got triple 1680x1050 working.

Its just that I had little response to my thread about working setups.

Only a few people have it though looks like and this is a top UK geek graphics card forum.
