Grand Theft Auto 4

love this game. got it on steam, but loads of CTD's. one even caused my pc to not be able to boot for a couple of hours, had to reset the cmos in order to sort it out.

shame steam have such a buggy game, even more so as its great fun to play, when it works.

No, I don't think you can. One of the missions does give you an oppertunity to take over some ones pad, but that's about it I think. I am only on Chapter 2 myself. :)

my mate completed it already :) no you cant buy anyhouses.. and michelle is a chicken... meh :o

I don't see how people can get crashes and bsods from this game! I've not had a single crash or anything other than the game textures randomly popping in which is a known issue!

And I have an ATI 4870 which supposedly crashes a lot along with Vista64 which supposedly doesn't help.

Heh.

Is it just me, or does the last package delivery for Jacob have an almost impossible time limit (the destination is Schottler under the highway overpass). Even if you shortcut the GPS route and have a perfect drive, the timing is still about 5 seconds too short.

Can't remember if I actually managed to do this one on the PS3 but it's proving impossible on the PC...

Another typical Rockstar "almost impossible" mission.

Has anyone actually succeeded in all 10 deliveries and if so what was your secret for the last one?

I haven't tried that yet, but every GTA has a few missions with an excessive difficulty level :( I don't know why they have to make them like that. Most of us play games for fun and relaxation, not to perform the task perfectly but still come up short. That isn't fun, it is just frustrating.

I did it took me a few trys for the one underpass, you just have to find a qwick route to it, once i got fairly close i exited the car, i seemed to get a little longer doing it that way.
