Heroes - Worst show on TV

First season of Dexter was brilliant, but the second season was a waste of time. Haven't even bothered with the third.

Waste of time?

Second season was great, third season has been even better.

Cast has been top notch all the way through, especially Masuka and Deb.

How do you find the time to play about with computers as well? :p

Have to agree though, Hereo's is starting to really drag. I've watched the first 12 episodes of season 3 and it's not getting any better imo. The Sarah Connor Chronicles just seems to go from strength to strength, and Knight Rider 2008 seems to have died after only 8 episodes :p

It's not the worst thing on tele, but it's certainly not good. Best series being aired at present is Dexter, best series yet to finish is Lost and best ever is Six Feet Under imo.

First season was awesome, second season stank and the third's not much better. If they stopped introducing new characters every single episode and just concentrated on developing the characters from the first season I think it would be far better than it currently is.

Was reading earlier that a former writer who worked on the first season has heavily criticised the current season and has been asked to come back and help out. Hopefully with his help we should see a dramatic improvement in the storyline from episode 19 and onwards :)

I actually think Heores has improved with this season but the networks have decided that Season 1 Heroes worked better and so have laid off a few writers in an effort to streamline the show ie dumb it down.

NBC sacked Jeph Loeb, he was brought on to fill the space of Brian Fuller who worked on season 1 with tim kring but went after series 1 to make pushing daisies, pushing daisies has been cancelled so NBC have brought back Bryan Fuller and his writing will come into play around episode 20.

Jeph Loeb (comic writer) is sadly the most garbage guy in the business, his comics are terrible and hes the black plague equivalant of a producer, he ruined Smallville(anybody remember that god awful Lana is related to a 10th century witch *****? - jeph loebs era) and he also was brought in for Lost season 2 which was absolute rubbish as it give nothing.

all im hoping is that now heroes will start to be like season 1, great story and good dialogue. the past 2 episode have been decent i thought, i loved what they done with Sylar in the latest, it felt like old times :D

yup, it was utterly boring. I was really annoyed because I really enjoyed the first series.

And Deb is my least favourite character in ANY TV show EVER. She's even worse than Parkman.

magret you clearly havent been watching the same show, season 1 was fantastic, season 2 utter disappointment, season 3, an improvement on 2 but nowhere near anything like the first season, haven't you noticed how every character has become annoying, how they change sides every episode, the bad dialogue, the terrible relationships? i didn't even see a difference between 10 year old hiro and normal hiro. its a tragic show that needs to start getting back to basic, n ffs stop jumping back n forth through time.

Strange, second season was even better than the first.

Oh well, your loss if you don't watch the third, better than anything else as of 2008. (not including The Wire finale and The Shield, the latter I haven't seen)

The 2nd season was pretty awful compared to the first, the writers strike didn't help of course but then the 3rd season has been pretty poor so far imo to.

How can you have so liked the complete shambles that was the second series?

They changed so many things during the course of the season that it's just a mess. Ignoring the fact that they weren't even going to keep most of the original cast to start with, the original plan was for it to start slowly, until the network decided that the dropping viewing figures weren't good enough, and they suddenly had to race to a point. Then you had that tiresome Hiro-in-the-past story that went nowhere fast, and in the end the whole series plan had to be pretty much dumped thanks to the Writer's Strike.

She's talking about Dexter.
