Weekend Soccerball; 13th-14th December - *SPOiLERS*

Lot of managers losing the plot this season, thats for sure.

Showed such early promise, especially with the great win over Everton but from there on in he just became tactically inept. I'm still convinced we could have drawn last week against Liverpool if he'd made the subs earlier. Problem is, hes in a position now where he needs to take some of the blame but doing so will pretty much force him out of the club.

I really don't know who i'd want to replace him. In a perfect world we'd get Sparky back but I know a lot of fans will be against that. Avram Grant has been mentioned but he's a bit of a risk and as for Allardyce, hes a good manager but I really don't like the way he gets his teams to play. Unfortunatley we're not in a position to play good football and lose.

Grrrr, what does Keano have to do to get a game, ****ing kuyt has been **** for 2 season, but he gets picked over and over again, time to go Rafa, weve gone stale like we did under Houllier, and the managers ego seems to be taking over:(

Kuyt's been awesome this season, until the last 2 or 3 games he's been our best player along with Xabi. That said he definately should have come off this match. Well, hello 2nd place :(

That may be correct - but Kuyt has got you crucial goals this season for winners, so thanks to him you have led the EPL

Looks like Hull held on for a well deserved point (not considering the penalty they should have got)

Keane out in jan? Why would you leave your 20 million striker on a bench when you need a goal

To join Berba (according to some Utd fans lol) ?

Liverpool where as likely to score as they were to concede - so I guess the point was worth holding on to

Think Liverpool will be VERY lucky to hold on to the EPL lead upto Xmas

!

You're still near the top of the table, regardless of how Chelsea do.

hey may be wearing a uniform for all you know
:D

The starting line-up suggested Rafa was more interested about stopping Hull scoring than allowing us to attack and score ourselves. The substitutions in the second half add weight to this. Why swap a defensive midfielder for another defensive midfielder? He's slowly getting back in to the mindset he had last year and he's costing us big time. Keane might as well pack his bags now :(

Tottenham: Gomes, Corluka, Dawson, Woodgate, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Zokora, Jenas, Bentley, Modric, Pavlyuchenko. Subs: Cesar, Bale, Huddlestone, Bent, Gunter, Boateng, O'Hara.

Man Utd: Van der Sar, Rafael Da Silva, Ferdinand, Vidic, O'Shea, Park, Fletcher, Carrick, Ronaldo, Berbatov, Tevez. Subs: Kuszczak, Neville, Anderson, Giggs, Nani, Scholes, Evans.

Time for Tevez to shine. We need to take advantage of the other results.

Everton have nicked it

if the other results go against them the richest club in the world could be in the relegation zone :D

LOLOL

ManCity...they suck. though i'll do anything to see them getting relegated, i'll really want to see the look on robinho's face when he's on a championship team when it could all have been different with chelski being EPL champs and CL winners;)

Awesome? would Kuyt get in any of the other top 6 sides, Rafa just seems to persist with the wrong player, Kuys works his socks off, but thats about it, the amount of times he breaks our play up, is getting beyond a joke now.

3 home draws against mediocre opposition is not acceptable, we had a chance to consolidate at the top with our xmas run, we havent quite fluffed it, but we seem to having a real go at shooting ourselves in the foot:(
