like hell they would. unless they thought they where coming at them they'd hold off as long as possible (ie till russia threatens them) to insure more of them would survive.

Typhoon has a top speed of about mach 1.5 iirc the blackjack is over mach 2.

After all it was designed to fly through the entire American air defence network at the height of the cold war.

There is nothing like your airspace , these are areas where the UK monitors air traffic. Technically the airspace doesnt belong to any country.

The russians didnt invade the UK airspace in this case , they flew without handing over flight plans which is illegal.

I'd hazard a pretty good guess that we or the US have crossed airspace boundaries with Russian/Chinese et al... just we never get to hear about it.
